    Madison Chastain is a writer of poems, essays, and books. Originally from Northern California, she now works for Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Inspired by her experience growing up as an older sister to a disabled sibling, she studied creative writing and moral theology at Saint Mary's College of California and got an MA in theology and ethics, with a research emphasis on disability theology, from the University of Chicago's Divinity School. Her writing on faith, ethics, the body, and culture has been featured in numerous publications, including The Young Catholic Woman, FemCatholic, the American Catholic Studies Journal, Geez Magazine, and NCR.
